Socialization regarding scope of consulting services for MCA-Honduras Program Evaluation

Tegucigalpa. MCA-Honduras presented to the firms interested in submitting proposals, the scope of the consulting services to be hired for the “Design and Implementation of the MCA – Honduras Program Evaluation”.

Representatives of six consulting firms learned about details on the scope of services and products expected from this assignment, which is aimed to perform  periodic economic evaluations in order to measure the impact, benefits and results achieved by MCA-Honduras projects .


Mr. Orlando Mejía of MCA-Honduras presented the scope of the consulting services to the interested firms.


Mr. Mejía proceeds to open the proposals..		 

Regarding the Transportation Project, the benefits to be measured will include cost reduction of vehicle operation and passengers’ time. The Rural Development Project will take into account indicators such as the increase in the agricultural income of farmers and their employees.   

Attendees to the event included: Martín Ochoa, Ada Zelaya and Orlando Mejía  of MCA – Honduras; John Wingle and Anne Rothbaum of the Millennium Challenge Corporation; and representatives of ESA-GFA, Lavial, URBAN Inst. / NORC, Sanigest and Cofinsa /ASP,  on behalf of the interested firms.
