Works inspector speeds up construction of coffee hybrids laboratory

La Fe, Santa Bárbara.  In order to expedite and guarantee the quality of the works for the construction of the laboratory for the F1 in-vitro coffee hybrids, the Honduran Coffee Institute (IHCAFE) hired the professional services of a works inspector in charge of securing compliance with the construction goals and to secure the efficient work from the part of the construction company.

According to initial reports of the works inspector, and even though the company has performed a good work to the date, it is necessary to expedite the rhythm of activities to meet the critical path and to compensate time in the implementation during the first quarter.

The construction and equipment of the laboratory makes part of an innovative project financed and implemented by the Millennium Challenge Account-Honduras and IHCAFE.  The final goal is to complete the Coffee Hybrids Laboratory by mid-September, 2008, and start operations in the largest laboratory for in-vitro coffee production in Central America.
