A new socialization workshop recently took place as part of the implementation of the information and communication strategy of the Project of Incentives for Horticulture Production, financed by the Millennium Challenge Account-Honduras and implemented by the Honduras Brotherhood Association (Asociación Hermandad de Honduras).

In this opportunity 61 men and women producers from the communities of Laguna Seca and Jocotan, in the Municipality of Mercedes, in the Ocotepeque Department, met with technical staff of the Honduras Brotherhood Association to socialize the objectives, goals, activities and commitments established by the Project for that area.

Producers from both communities showed their interested about the Project, since it will mean significant improvement in their quality of life and will promote productive development for the community.

The Project is part of the agreement signed for more than US$ 758,000 between the Millennium Challenge Account-Honduras and the Honduras Brotherhood Association, and is aimed at implementing an integral production system that will allow to increase profits for  horticulture crops and to provide the necessary tools to face the challenges in reducing poverty.
