La Labor, Ocotepeque. - As one of the main starting points to achieve the objectives and goals established by the Project of Incentives for Horticulture Production, financed y the Millennium Challenge Account-Honduras and implemented by the Honduras Brotherhood Association, took place the election and organization of the Board of Directors that will lead the administration of the Project in the community of Santa Ifigenia, Municipality of La Labor, Ocotepeque Department. 

During the assembly held to this end participants included 41 persons (29 men and 11 women) who in view of their well known reliability and integrity, were unanimously voted to occupy the positions

The Board, formed by committees in charge of surveillance, irrigation, marketing and environment, will be responsible for managing and coordinating all actions regarding pre-investment, implementation and project sustainability, in close coordination with all Project beneficiaries.

These actions promote active and equal participation for men and women producers, in all processes involved in the Project, encouraging gender equity and offering the necessary tools to face poverty eradication challenges.

All this is being carried out with assistance from the Millennium Challenge Account-Honduras as the financing source, and the Honduras Brotherhood Association as the implementing agency.
