MCA-H/FTDA Project Training Producers from the Intibucá Department
Las Hortensias, Intibucá. MCA-Honduras Agricultural Credit Access Activity (MCA-H/ACA) continues implementing the Financial Education Program for Men and Women Producers, aimed at training them on how to use credit and at building awareness to maintain a clean credit history.
The issues approached included training on how to request a loan and how to maintain and guarantee the good use of different systems and funding opportunities.
The training sessions were held in the communities of Azacualpa and Las Hortensias in the Intibuca Department, attended by 16 men and 10 women producers who had the opportunity to express their opinions and doubts on the different issues.
MCA-Honduras Agricultural Credit Access Activity (MCA-H/ACA) is providing capacity building for 27 financial institutions in Honduras, and it is also providing support to train producers in the rural area, teaching them how to manage instruments needed to access credit.
