28 million dollars approved for the CA-5 North highway
The National Congress of the Republic in full approved the credit in the order of 28 million dollars that will be managed by the Millennium Challenge Account – Honduras to complement the Works for enhancing and improvement of the CA-5 North Highway and for the construction of the Millennium Exchange.
This credit contract was signed between the Government of Honduras and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration in August 2011.
These funds are in addition to the 130 million dollars initially approved by the CABEI for the conclusion of the Works started with funds granted by the Government of the United States of America through the Millennium Challenge Corporation, successfully executed by the Millennium Challenge Account – Honduras.
The additional funds execution will start once the notification and agreements have been published in the Official Daily La Gaceta.
